Electronic digital video recording equipment allows real time record of camera images.
Real time play back, extensive data storage, backup to floppy, CD-Rom, USB, memory stick, external hard drives, print options, remote viewing over the internet and systems of 4, 8, 9, 12, 16, 32 cameras per unit. Event recording and behaviour management, integration with alarm, access control and point of sale systems are an important part of selecting the right product for your needs.
What you should know when choosing a DVR.
DVR's are are not all the same even though it may say one does the same as the next unit. We have tested many and found there are many flaws in the provision of information! Our aim is to provide you with a unit that will serve your purpose for years and will give you value for money.
If you or your staff can't extract information in a relatively easy and timely manner than the unit is costing you more than the purchase price! The range of options your have to retrieve the information should also be a consideration too - is it USB, CD-RW, DVD, CD-R, remote HDD? Even if it is possible, how long does it take?
Hints on purchasing a DVR
Ask for a demonstration - Can the Sales person give you a demonstration of the product before you purchase? No - well how do you know it will be what you expect it to be? Do you purchase a car without test driving it? Do you buy an LCD TV for $2000 without checking it out first? No - well why not with a very important purchase such as a DVR - this is security after all and very important that the equipment will meet your needs, the needs of your insurance, the police, the courts and the staff you employ. We offer demonstrations at our city office of the preferred equipment for FNQ applications. We also have Reference Sites and can arrange for visits to manufacturers or distributors if you are outside the FNQ region.
End User Convenience - Multiple use options for all client preferences
Clients are often restricted on options to access the DVR controls. The UDR Range from Say Security follows the similar lines of the Kodicom unit whereby users can opt for the mouse, remote or shuffle jog to move between screen options. There is also the on-screen keyboard to use with the mouse which does speed things up.
When we install a DVR unit for our clients, you will receive training and instruction on all options so you are comfortable with the use before we leave the building. This is one of our minimum standards.
Enquire directly with us to check specifications on a model that will suit your exact requirements.

AMM Security Solutions were the first to bring you the Mobile DVR in 2005 and now the market place is alive with many versions some good, some shonky and some just not really worth the effort. We are sticking with our preferred product range the MDVR from Say Security and welcome the opportunity to demonstrate LIVE to you how the unit works and the many wonderful functions it has. The unit is so versatile that it does not have to be restricted to transit applications but can be used anywhere that a small recording device is required, takes up to four cameras and two monitors and has all the capabilities of our preferred electronic DVR equipment.
