"The images are brilliant in the night time; our security guys are amazed at the quality. It has helped the Police on a number of occasions and they can easily use the software as well. Liquor Licensing say all premises should have cameras these good ñ it makes their job easier as they can see our staff are doing the right thing"

Vicky de Maria, A Night Club, Innisfail, Feb 2009

Antonia explains

With this application the night time recording was most important but we had a few other complications to deal with.

Firstly, the low lighting crossed with dance floor lighting, strobes and strip lighting along the bars so the cameras had to take account of these variations. The area to cover is expansive. I designed a setup that would cover all the areas of concern for Licencing today with the ability to add on for the future. We have all the entry and exit points covered and the cash handling areas.

The DVR is Linux based and has plenty of capacity to meet the requirements of Licencing as well as adding on more cameras later. We have two monitors set up; one for the security personnel to view the areas of the club they canít directly see and the other for the owner to review footage in comfort. This system can be viewed remotely if necessary. Downloading images to the Police is simple and effective, whilst conducted in timely manner to assist them resolve incidents. Direct to USB with the viewer software in minutes! Vicky was given instruction on the process and was confident enough to instruct the Police when the time came to do so. This system has been in operation for nearly 12 months now and no issues have arisen with the equipment at all. We account this to the quality of cabling and materials plus the high grade equipment we use.

It was an arduous task completing the urgent install in time for the Innisfail Show but it was done and all worked effectively, so much so Vicky used the recording to assist Police locate a missing person and resolve issues during the Show period.

The details of the equipment used can be obtained directly from Antonia Moore but no information on the site will be given out. This is for client confidentiality.
