Concept Pharmacy uses CCTV to deter shop lifting in shopping mall. This is an example of one of our clients that saw the need to include CCTV into the design layout of their store. The cameras are descreet however the monitor at the front entrance of the store clearly shows customers that they are on camera (the monitor image is not the true representation due to the angle of the photographers lens). High cost goods with small packaging are prime targets for shop lifters.

By having this system installed, the business owner is able to zoom to the nearest camera from the serving counter, back office or remote location and see what is going on, call the police or center management security with a clear discription of the offender, in REAL time. In playback the owner can download a video or still for the police or center management security to seek out the offenders at a later time. Our clients are instructed on how to take control of their security system and use it to reduce loss and assist police in timely apprehension of offenders.

Lighting is a major consideration in the selection of cameras for each application. For this store we have selected 480 TVL colour dome cameras which serve well day and over night due to the large amount of peripheral lighting in the centre. Recording is back to a 9 channel LINUX based DVR with 250GB HDD
